FAQ

The installation of the wall-mounted systems by our highly skilled technicians requires a meticulous work which takes around 3 to 4 hours. Once the indoor unit installed, we connect it to the outside and adjust the levels of pressure in the refrigerant gas of the compressor. The connections between the outdoor unit and the indoor unit don’t require much space because they are not that bulky, they can be easily hidden within an aluminum coating, or be embedded in the walls.

Will the interior temperature be constant and uniform throughout the house regardless of the outside temperature?

The technology integrated in our different models will enable not only to reach the desired temperature in record time but also maintains a constant comfort and provide a high degree of temperature stability to within a half-degree Celsius. However, for optimal use, we strongly suggest that you let your air conditioner operate all time at a temperature which fluctuates between 21 and 23 degree Celsius. Since these models provide high energy efficiency, the impact to your electricity bill will be minimal for the comfort that you’ll get.

How to maintain your air conditioning unit?

The most important maintenance task that will ensure the efficiency of your air conditioner is to routinely replace or clean its filters. Filters are generally located somewhere in the indoor unit and can be removed easily. Rinse the filters with warm water and let dry before re-installing them in the unit. At least every two to three years, hire our professional service technician. Our well-trained technician can come out and inspect your heating and air conditioning system, then take the appropriate action to clean the unit. A regular maintenance for the unit is necessary to function effectively and efficiently throughout its years of service.

How heat pumps work?

A heat pump is a device that uses a small amount of energy to move heat from one location to another. The heat pump cycle is fully reversible, and heat pumps can provide year-round climate control for your home, heating in winter and cooling in summer.

Do the ACRoyal solutions contribute to preserve the ozone layer?

A heat pump is an electrical device that extracts heat from one place and transfers it to another. Unlike the combustion heaters that are powered by gas or oil. Therefore, it does not produce smoke and it does not emit CO2, the main agent responsible for the greenhouse effect.

All our machines and technologies are environmentally friendly. Our products use gas R410-A which minimizes the impact on global warming.

When is it recommanded to use my air conditioning systems?

Our air conditioning systems and most other brands are set to not work at low temperatures to protect the compressor units. Thus, GREE models do not operate in cooling mode at a temperature of 16 ° C or less. Under these conditions, the compressor will not operate and your condenser will blow hot air that corresponds to the ambient air in your home.
